Greg left a voice message for Richard at the Asian American Themehouse. "Your daughter e-mailed me and suggested that we do a website to get the word out about Anna. Sounds like a good idea to me, and I would be happy to help. Please give me a call."

When Richard called back, Greg was out. Richard talked fast into the phone, unsure of how long he had. "Sure, I'll drop by a flier and photos and text at the front desk at Foothills--I''m going over there to ask around now anyway. Anything would be helpful--a site showing her picture and asking for any information would be terrific!"

Greg called Richard a day later and left yet another message: "I have the site up on my website and I can e-mail you the URL if you have e-mail. If not, you can come by my computer to see it. But look, if you have a computer over there, I can get you an account with a buddy of mine who owns an ISP--that way you can look at the web and see what else to add as stuff comes up. Also, we can just do a lot of this stuff by e-mail."

This time when Richard called back, Greg was in. He began quickly, "Thanks a lot for all the work on the site. I haven't seen it yet, but the M.A.C. here just lent an IMac to Anna's search and if you could get your friend to set up a way onto the internet, I'd really appreciate it. I just can't thank you enough."

Greg replied, "No problem--I'm glad to do something at least to help find your daughter. When will you be around so I can set up your computer account? Could we also move the site to your account? I am happy to have it here, but the powers that be called me earlier today and said that it would be a good idea to remove it--something about the image of the college. In any other case, I'd fight this, but you probably have enough on your mind trying to find Anna at any rate."

Richard smiled ruefully, unable to keep the bitterness from his voice. "Yeah, there are enough problems with the powers that be. Let's just move the whole thing to my account. Can you show me how to update it myself? Then I can be responsible for it.. I certainly wouldn't want to put the University to any trouble. After all, it's only my daughter."

Greg laughed a bit shortly. "Right. When are you over there?"

Richard said, "Would right now be soon enough?

Greg put the phone on his neck as he reached for his sneakers, "Let me call and I'll be right there."
