Datafeeds is a short (21 node) exploration of a single incident in three universes (hearing, sight, and feeling). You can follow the story by clicking on the braid, the page numbers, or the connecting thoughts. If the idea of coping with new datafeeds intrigues you, check out prosopagnosia.
Deena Larsen has a full spectrum of work attesting to her at-this-point-probably-incurable addiction to hypertext. To support this expensive and demanding habit, she works for the government in her spare time. Her greatest accomplishment there so far has been to convince a roomful of lawyers that her approach to a cumulative effects analysis would work, and lo and behold, it did. Other than that, nothing in this story should be taken as literal, autobiographical, or serious.
